CSiBRidge v22, is a software that has tools for modeling, analysis and design of bridge structures. With CSiBridge, engineers can easily define complex bridge geometries, boundary conditions, and load cases.
CSiBRidge enables quick and easy design and fitting of steel and concrete bridges. The parametric modeler allows the user to build simple or complex bridge models and make changes efficiently while maintaining full control over the design process.
Lanes and vehicles can be quickly defined and include width effects. In addition, the AASHTO LRFD design is included in combinations of automatic loading, superstructure design and seismic design.
Some new features in CSiBridge v22
- Now multiple copies of the same model can be run on different machines, and the analysis results will be merged on a single machine. This is particularly useful for running a large number of load cases in parallel.
- A new function SapModel.File.GetFilePath has been added to the application programming interface (API) to get the full file path (including file name) of the current model.
- The option to Import / Export models from an XML file has been added. The XML file format is based on database tables used for EXcel, Access, and model text files.
- The bridge modeler has been enhanced with the addition of a new temporary construction load defined as part of the bridge section definitions for precast I, U type steel girders. This new "Additional Cantilever Load", when specified, will be added on top of the other temporary construction loads that apply to the entire slab, including the cantilever.
- Buckling and modal load case individual modes can now be added to load combinations. Multiple modes can be added from the same load case, each with its own scale factor.
- Detailed foundation properties can now be defined and used to generate parametric foundation sets that can be added to the model. The available foundation properties are: isolated footings, combined footings and piles.
